Pay-per-minute sessions: voice and video calls by the minute
A pay-per-minute session is a one-to-one voice or video call with a publisher, paid by the minute from your NotesApp Credit. You hold some minutes when you book, the call is metered by #NotesApp, and you pay only for what you use. Your sessions are on Pay-per-minute sessions.
For publishers: under Rates & payouts, tick Offer pay-per-minute sessions and set a price per minute for voice, for video, or both (₦50 to ₦50,000 a minute), and who can book: Everyone, or your own Premium, VIP and VVIP, VIP and VVIP, or VVIP subscribers (subscription tiers; they still pay per minute). People book your weekly times, the same ones as paid sessions. You need a publishing account and a bank account for payouts.
Booking: on the publisher's profile, under Book · per minute, choose voice or video, a day and a time, and how many minutes to hold (at least 10, up to 240 when booking). That many minutes at their price are held from your NotesApp Credit: set aside, not charged. Bonus Credits can't be used, so you need enough credit; top up first if not.
The call: either of you can start it from the session's page, from 10 minutes before the time. It's the same call as in Messages: phone to phone, end-to-end encrypted, through a relay only when a network needs one. A meter shows the time, the minutes billed and what's left of your hold. The meter is #NotesApp's: it starts when both phones are connected and counts on our clock, not on either phone.
What you pay: if the call ends within the first 60 seconds, nothing. After that, every started minute is charged, counted from the start: a call of 12:41 is 13 minutes. Unused minutes go back to your NotesApp Credit as soon as the call ends.
Running out: when your held minutes are used up you're asked to add minutes (+ Add 15 minutes holds 15 more). If you don't, the call ends 60 seconds later, and that wait isn't charged: you never pay more than you held. If a phone loses the connection for good, the call ends at the last moment you were both on it.
Cancelling: until the call starts, either of you can cancel and everything held comes back. A session whose call hasn't started 60 minutes after its time ends by itself, and the hold comes back.
For the publisher: #NotesApp takes your normal rate plus 20% of it, fixed when the session is booked, on what the call used. The rest is paid to your bank account after the call ends and a 24-hour window for problems, like a paid session. Within that window the caller can report a problem from the session's page, which pauses the payout while we review it.
Teens: members in teen mode can't sell or book pay-per-minute sessions.
