A boosted journal appears in the journal feed marked Promoted, and a boosted item in the Boosted strips on the home page and in Notes Market, for up to the package's window.
Pay for what's delivered
Anything not delivered by the end is refunded pro-rata.
What counts as a validated impression
- A real visitor had your boosted card at least half on screen for about one second.
- Counted once per visitor per boost per day — refreshing doesn't add impressions.
- Bots and crawlers don't count, and neither do your own views while signed in.
- A daily cap spreads delivery across several days instead of burning through in an hour.
- You can see impressions delivered and clicks under Rates & payouts.
- Boosts rotate, a few at a time on a computer or tablet and one at a time on a phone, and they also go in the weekly digest, where each email sent counts as an impression. The best picture is 1200 × 628 px; see sizes and spots.
Fair by design
Boost revenue has no commission — the price is the price. If a boost ends with impressions undelivered, the undelivered share is refunded the way you paid (your card, or your wallet). You can cancel a running boost any time under Boost performance: delivered impressions are spent, and you get half of the undelivered share back (the other half is forfeited). One active boost per post; boosted posts are labelled “Boosted”.
Who can boost
Any publisher, for their own published posts and the items in their own store. Pay in Naira through Paystack or from your NotesApp Credit wallet, and you need a verified email.
