Academic sites: the Scholar look and importing your publications

For academics and researchers, from Free Basic. Pick the Academics and researchers kit on Your site, or add the sections to any site.

The Scholar look: plain and academic, a narrow page made for reading, with a light and dark switch that remembers each visitor's choice (and follows their phone's setting until they choose). It works with every colour set.

Academic sections: Publications (by year, newest first, your name in bold among the authors, with links and labels such as Best paper); Awards; Talks on a globe visitors can turn (type the city and its dot appears); and In the news.

Import instead of typing: in Publications, upload a BibTeX file (Google Scholar exports one; so do Zotero, Mendeley and others), add a paper by its DOI, or bring in your public works from ORCID. You check the list before saving; nothing is added twice, and your own edits stay.

Keep in sync with ORCID: link your ORCID iD and new works on your ORCID record are added to your site's Publications every day.
