Zimbabwean crooked businessman, reputed for helping African leaders launder money and rig elections died yesterday

Wicknell Chivayo, a well-known IT guru who specializes in rigging elections for African leaders by manipulating the system, has died in a helicopter crash.

Wicknell Chivayo, the 43 year old Zimbabwean crooked businessman, reputed for helping African leaders launder money and rig elections died in a helicopter crash yesterday, alongside his wife and four others.

His recently acquired personal helicopter came down in the Marondera rural area, about 70 km from the east of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.

Chivayo visited President Tinubu in October 2025.
