The greatest gift of leadership is not what you achieve.

It is who you get to achieve it with.
Some of my most defining moments as a leader had little to do with performance metrics.
They were about the people who showed up when the pressure was on.
The colleague who challenged my thinking when agreement would have been easier.
A team member who took ownership of a problem beyond their responsibility.
Someone who reminded me through their actions that leadership is never a one-person effort.
Over the years, I have learnt that results may earn you recognition, but people give your journey its meaning.
Titles change, organisations change and chapters close.
But the lives you touch, the people who grow under your leadership and the relationships you build can outlast them all.
In my experience, the greatest measure of a leader is not what they leave behind, but who is better because they were there.
Who is one person whose presence has made a lasting difference in your journey?
