All You Have is NOW
20 October 2026 | 1 min read

As a child, we used to sing a song: "Tick says the clock, tick tick. What you have to do, do quick."
That phrase means so much more to me as an adult than it ever did as a child.
There is time. Time is in abundance. It is not going anywhere.
Interestingly, you cannot say the same about yourself. You are moving. Every day we are here is one less day we have left to be here.
Therefore, whatever life it is you have always wanted to live, all you have is now. Not tomorrow. Not next year. NOW.
Go get that degree. Enroll in the next academic year.
Stop waiting to get married first just so you can be sure of where to settle. Stop waiting to have kids, or waiting for the kids to grow up, before you can finally focus on yourself. Stop waiting for the "perfect time" to start the business, or to change careers, because the timing will never be perfect. Stop waiting until you feel completely "ready" or financially bulletproof before you take the leap.
Those are just excuses. Get up and live your life now.
All you have is now. What you are living right now is your life. This is it. Make sure you are making the most of it.
Wear those clothes. Put on that jewelry. Buy that watch. Visit those places. Get that certificate. Build that house. Buy that car. Use that perfume or cologne. Eat those choice meals. Serve God and humanity. Love hard.
This is it. All you have is now.
