Events

Events are for every account: services, meetings, launches, classes and outreaches. Add one on the Events page (for yourself) or on your community's Events tab (for the community, open to everyone or members only).

An event has a start and end (Lagos time), where it is, and or a Join live link. For a talk in your community, host it in an audio room on #NotesApp (the host, 4 speakers and up to 20 listening). For video or a bigger audience, which our own streaming doesn't do yet, the link can be YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Zoom, Google Meet or any https link. It can repeat every week or every month, until a date if you like.

People tap Going or Interested and get a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before (a notification, a phone notification and an email), and can Add to calendar. Public events are listed under Upcoming, by state and city. If you change or cancel an event, everyone going or interested is told.

Paid tickets: on your event's page, under Tickets, add ticket types (Regular, VIP …), each with a price (from ₦100) and how many. With none, the event stays a free RSVP. Paid tickets need your bank account under Rates & payouts. More in Paid event tickets.
